I intend to demonstrate from the Bible there is only one true God. That sinful man has an obligation to the one true God, and should worship Him alone. And, the true God has only one means of access.
Is there anything you wish you could change? Well, with the new year upon us, perhaps you are looking to make some changes. The year is fresh and completely in front of us. What will we make of it? This may just be the right time for you to have a new beginning, a clean slate, or even, a fresh start.
Regardless of what you think about this holiday season, you must agree that it is a season of giving. People are benevolent this time of year. Our text speaks of the act of giving. The Magi traveled a great distance to appear before a young child and offer him gifts. Why did they do so? Better yet, why should we do the same?
When we have problems in our society, it is possible to obtain arbitration through a mediator. But what shall we do if the problem is between God and man? It is my objective to discuss the subject of our Mediator.
Faith is often difficult to possess. We are more empirical than we are theorists or philosophers. It is hard to look beyond our present reality. Yet, we know that faith sees the invisible. We know that faith is a gift from God. We know that faith may overcome our circumstances. Oh, that we might have faith in God.
It is my desire to look into this text, and then discuss church conduct. I will look at the early church behavior from both a positive perspective and negative. By this, perhaps, we will know how we ought to behave ourselves in the church of God.
I would that you desire the things of God. I encourage you to get into God's Word every day. It is my objective to stir up in you a hunger and thirst for God's Word.
We should be a thankful people. It is, therefore, my desire to speak on this subject. I remind you that you should be gracious. I focus on the fact that, primarily, you should return thanks unto God. You do have reason to manifest an attitude of gratitude.
My objective is to demonstrate to you that, although man is undeserving, God has bestowed great blessings, goodness, and grace upon man. This should provoke a sense of gratitude and an awareness of God's mercy and grace.
