  • Sinner, There Is Hope

Sometimes the events of life are cruel and unforgiving.  Fortunately, not everything in life is hopeless.  For example, I am thankful for the opportunities the medical community provides us.  Turning to spiritual matters, there is not a sinner here who is beyond the grasp of the Savior.

  • Liberal or Conservative?

It is my objective to discuss the liberal and conservative views and then, attempt to demonstrate that the biblical representation and the Lord Jesus abide on the conservative side.  By this, we can compare our own stance to that of our Lord and assess whether or not a personal adjustment must be made.

  • The Establishment of Human Government

We have heard a great deal in this election about "change."  Our passage records the change the children of Israel wished to make.  From it I believe we can learn some things about government.  I also desire to demonstrate the biblical representation of government and our responsibilities to it.

  • The Secret of Paul’s Contentment

If we look around at our society, it would appear that there is very little contentment in our American culture.  I submit unto you, above anyone else, those of us who know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, ought to be content.  Paul had reached this place in his life; let us see the secret of Paul's contentment.

  • Sadducee, Pharisse, or Christian?

In this text we find two extremely religious groups.  Both, in appearance, are for God and truth.  A third group I mention are Christians.  I wish to discuss these three and make application.  In this way, you can determine the true need of your heart.

  • Sinners Must Turn

Our society basically possesses an "anything goes" attitude.  This philosophy has also crept into some of the churches.  Repentance is no longer necessary nor a topic of discussion.  Our text teaches that the lost must repent and believe.  I desire to make this very clear today.  When it comes to salvation, sinners must turn.

  • Heed the Warning

I believe God gives opportunity and warning.  He gives men "space to repent."  Yet, man often will not listen.  Sometimes, there is response, but too late.  It is my intention to encourage you to "Heed the Warning."

  • God is Holy

There are many views as to who God is.  Nowadays, some even claim God is of the feminine gender.  Such low opinions of God are usually coupled with a high opinion of man.  It is my objective to address a single, yet important, attribute of God.

    Text: Mark 12:41-44

We often wonder what good we are doing.  Does the little money we give make a difference?  Do the few tasks we fulfill actually profit the ministry?  I submit unto you that your labor for Jesus is worthwhile.  Your impact is greater than you think.  I desire to use this text on giving to teach a few lessons on Christian service.
