  • Prayer

Prayer is a necessary portion of our Christian life.  Prayer is communication with our Lord.  Yet, it seems that one of the hardest tasks in Christian service is that of prayer.  May we look into these verses and be encouraged to pray.

  • Be Ready To Answer

Have you ever been asked a question and you couldn't answer it?  I know it has happened to me.  One thing I know, I want to always be able to express the hope that lies within.  Can you talk about Jesus?  Can you tell others how to be saved?

  • Fellowship With God

Two things emerge from this text.  One, there is an evangelistic aspect.  Two, there is an interactive aspect - specifically, spiritual fellowship.  My objective is to consider both aspects of our text.

  • Watch, for Jesus is Coming Again

Today is resurrection Sunday; we recognize Jesus was crucified and buried, and that He rose again the third day.  We believe He ascended into Heaven.  We believe He is coming to Earth again.  History has shown that some people thought they figured out the time of His return.  We know they were wrong.  But, I wish to make it clear, Jesus is coming again (see, I Thess. 4:15-17; Matt. 24:42-44).  It is my desire to speak about the return of our Lord, and our responsibility to be faithful while He is away.

  • Life at the Seashore

I would assume we all are familiar with the phrase, "When it rains, it pours."  This means that troubles and difficult times hit us all at once.  Many things are wrong at one time.  You know this by experience, don't you?  My objective considers the stresses and strains of life and how to deal with them.  May we learn from Israel's experience.

  • Forgiveness of Sin

Some people have an odd view of sin.  They make mistakes but they don't sin.  As a result, they do not see their need of Jesus.  It is my desire to deal with the forgiveness of sin.

  • Rend Your Heart

God wants His people to repent.  God wants their change to come from the inside out.  It is my objective to take this text, learn God's intent for us to respond with a genuine heart-felt response, and apply this to everyday life and service.

  • When A Child Backslides

I trust that each of us are aware of our tendency to turn away from God.  Not just that we might depart, but, that we do depart.  It is my objective to review God's desire for His chosen nation to return to Him and apply these truths to His people today.

    Text:  Mark 9:41

I would like to remind you that, in the very least, God takes notice of the little things, and that small things matter; do not despise small things.  My objective is to encourage you to be faithful, even in the little things.

  • The Greatest Love Story

It is my objective to tell you a love story.  It is one which, I pray, will stir your soul; will move your heart; will touch you deeply.  I pray that it will motivate you to action and lead you by example.  Our text will be the basis for our love theme.
