I would like to talk to you about two men found in the Bible. It is my intention to trace their paths from the beginning of their Christian profession to the time of Jesus' death. Take notice of the great similarities between them. Notice the core difference which separates them.
Our text tells us about a woman who loved the Lord but had become anxious. It is my objective to look into the text and learn something about anxiety and worry. What does it mean? What lessons might we learn? How can we resolve our inordinate care?
My objective is to preach to you freedom. I intend to give an exposition of the text. Then, I shall offer some thoughts on the subject of freedom and its relationship to truth. Finally, I shall direct you toward spiritual freedom.
Many people rest upon the idea that hell is not a real place. It is my objective to speak otherwise. For, the Bible teaches that hell is real, with real flame, with real suffering. Further, as is found in our text, the Bible teaches that those in hell will possess a physical body, confirming the truth of the physical reality of hell.
I intend to give a good description of the ideal father. Further, I will consider the only true / genuine ideal Father. If you don't know Him today, perhaps, you will desire to do so.
Have you ever noticed that when you attempt to focus spiritually and you strive to draw near to God, that often, trials will arise? Try to be faithful and obedient to God and you will find hindrances along the way. Let us discuss this issue.
It is my desire to remind you of a few brave Christian soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the Lord. Inasmuch as we would honor those who suffered and/or died for our national liberties, we ought to honor those who suffered and/or died for our spiritual beliefs.
The text before us is a very familiar one. It is my desire to consider the teaching found in this verse; I wish to exhort each one of us to search our hearts and to ensure we are in possession of the gift of God.
It is my objective to revisit one of the most common Bible stories and refresh your memories and renew your zeal to follow God. May we remember. May we learn. May we take heed.
