  • Can A Christian Truly Hate His Brother

My objective is to give a brief review of the four prior studies, followed by a few considerations on our text, then, I shall offer a supporting passage.  By this method I propose to discern the true teaching of our text and answer the question, "Can a Christian truly hate his brother?"

  • Hate / Love in First John

My main goal is to impart basic Bible teaching and offer a few points of practical application.  I judge you will have the ability to compare what you learn to your own life, making a personal assessment as to your true spiritual condition.

  • The Word of This Salvation

Many people think there are many roads but they all lead to the same God.  To this, I must disagree.  It is my objective to look into part of Paul's message to the Jews, recognizing there is one Gospel or one way of salvation, and then defining what that way is.

  • Hate; Hatred

It is my objective to address the subject of hate as presented in the Bible.  This is not an exhaustive study.  But, I hope to gain your attention and cause you to look for the biblical remedy to hate.

  • Love and Forgiveness

My objective is to examine our text, glean its truths, and make personal application.  Perhaps, by God's grace, we will never be guilty of murder, but that the attitudes which lead to it, will also be eliminated.

  • This Christ

Our text focuses on Christ and emphasizes His work.  Then, the impact of Jesus and His provision is made clear.  It is my desire to speak to you from this text concerning "this Christ."

  • Love and Kindness

My friends, we live in a cold, dark, world.  Our society reflects the prophecy that the "love of many shall wax cold."  It is my objective to consider our response to those around us, by looking into our passage, and gleaning the truths which teach us to show love and kindness.

  • The Light of the Word

We often hear about famine in certain areas around the world.  But, I submit, a greater famine exists, that of the Word of God.  My objective is for each of us to have a greater desire for the Word.  May we read it, study it, love and cherish it.

  • Forgetting Those Things Which Are Behind

As we begin a new year, I propose that we not only need to look forward, but also backward, in some degree.  Have you learned from past experiences?  At the same time, be careful not to live in the past.  Before we reflect back and look ahead, may we glean some lessons from the Apostle Paul.

  • Jesus

We come now to the final part of my mini-series on the core event of this holiday season.  Today, it is my intention to discuss the child born of Mary.  After all, He is the crux of the matter.  Without Him, there is nothing special about the story and nothing spectacular about this birth.  I have talked about Mary and Joseph, now I would like to mention Jesus.
