Why Do We Suffer Trouble?
We all go through trials and tribulations. It is my desire to offer some reasons why God will bring, or allow, trouble to come upon us.

Our text mentions the word paradise. What is it? What did Jesus mean? Did the thief go there? Can you and I go there? If so, why would you turn it down?
I have found that no matter how much I would like to believe a thing, I have the tendency to wonder about it. If you also have a problem with your faith, then perhaps this message will bless you.
In the old West snake oil would cure about anything. Really, it was just a sham to take your money. When it comes to the Gospel there are those who think that it isn't true, that it is snake oil.
The Bible teaches that we are better than the creation. I want you to know that you are valuable in the eyes of God. Yes, you are worth something.
This entire psalm emphasizes the Word of God. Would you consider making the Word of God a priority? Would you love the Word of God?
Some sinners believe they have been too bad to be saved. They think they have gone too far and done too much. But I submit that there is not one sinner that is beyond the grasp of the Savior.
Should we be concerned about confessing wrongdoing? Too often God speaks to our hearts about something in our life yet we won't confess it before Him. Does our rebellion matter?
Our passage speaks about the books upon which the future judgment is based. I have concluded these books are the Laws and will of God.
What you think upon is what you will pursue. Therefore, guard your thoughts. Guard your heart. May I encourage you to think about Heaven.
