  • A Heart for God

David understood man's propensity to sin and evil. So, the text before us exudes the need for cleansing, even for the believer,...even for a man after God's own heart.

  • Be Honorable

Inasmuch as each mother, as well as, every wife and every lady should be honorable in their lives, so should every man. I address every man, exhorting you to be honorable.

  • Therefore Have I Hope

Like Jeremiah and the people of Jerusalem, we go through physical afflictions, mental anguish, and spiritual trials. Although we might identify with their grief, may we also be reminded of their hope.

  • Remember

Tomorrow is Memorial Day. It is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's military service. It is my desire to use this occasion to cause us to remember.

  • The Immensity of Sin

I was explaining the truth of this verse to someone, and I expressed the gift of eternal life, when this person said, "Plus, what we must do." It is my desire to discuss the truth of this verse, and hopefully, you will not have the same view as my friend. If you perceive the immensity of sin, you will not do so.

  • Supportive Words

This passage reminds us, that like Peter, we have experienced failure in our Christian service. I submit that we are more aware of our failures than we are our successes. I submit many Christians are guilt-ridden, have no joy, and are discouraged. Today, I do not emphasize Peter's denial, but I wish to focus on a few positive lessons.

  • Virtues for Godly Living and Godly Parenting

I would like to talk about the Shunamite woman. Here we shall find some virtues which are practical for the unmarried, married, and parental conditions. Though today is Mother's Day, all who are present have an opportunity to receive exhortation.

  • Be A Partner With Missions

John warned believers about giving assistance to the false teachers. We are not to become partners with those who believe not the truth and would do evil. On the positive side, we are to accept, aid, and bless those who bear the truth; that causes us to be partakers of his good deeds.

  • A Friend of Publicans and Sinners

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the supreme Ruler of the universe. A God of mercy but also a God of judgment. Jesus is to be feared. He is to be respected. Though some see Him as mean or cruel, I say unto you, that Jesus is a friend of publicans and sinners.

  • Spirit Filled

We have all heard of those who are filled with alcohol or drugs. The Bible tells of another type of filling. Yes, I am speaking about the filling of the Holy Spirit. We should be Spirit-filled.
