  • Bearing Your Iniquity

The Lord, in these passages, dictated to Moses the laws regarding the sin offerings and the trespass offerings.  This was directed toward the Jews.  Yet, even in those remedies there was fault (Heb. 9:6-14; 10:3-4).  Nevertheless, there is an important truth expressed in our text which is still true today.  It is this truth with which I am concerned.

  • He Calls You

This story is a reminder to all of us that there are times in our life when we need someone's assistance.  Of all whom we might seek, we should seek the Lord.  May it be, that Jesus will hear our voice and call us to come to Him.

  • Wrong Signals

Our text indicates a wrong signal.  It is my objective to look into our text to discern James' intention, but I shall also make an application.  Perhaps we can learn something about wrong signals.

  • Are You Willing?

Some people say they will do a thing but never do.  Others say they won't, but later change their minds and will.  It is my objective to look into our text and learn a few things about the human will and evangelism.  Is willingness enough, or should there also be a response?

  • Private Pain

Everyone has problems and their own crosses to bear.  It is my objective to address those in our midst who put on a happy face but are sad within, and lend some biblical guidance.

  • Children of Light – part two

Christians are called "children of light."  I desire that we discover what that means.  I would like the Christian to grow in Christ and the lost person to see their need of Jesus and turn to Him for life and light.

  • Course Adjustment

It is my objective to remind each of us that as we travel through this life we must adjust to the road.  I further submit to you that small adjustments are better than large; if we wait too late, the results might be tragic!

  • Genuine Salvation

In a pluralistic world it is essential for you to see that "not everyone is right."  But, there is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain, and there is only one means for eternal life.  It is my objective to look into our text and discuss the matter of biblical salvation.  It is my desire to speak to you about genuine salvation.

  • The Work of a Mother

It is my objective to remind you that a mother's task is not an easy one.  We should leave this place with a renewed respect for our mothers (and wives).  We ought to give honor to whom honor.
