It is my objective to discuss the general principles revealed in the Bible about the Bible. Today, we lay the foundation of the doctrine of the Bible. These truths are elemental.
I again address the topic of prayer. I want you to do more than go through "the motions of prayer." I desire that prayer would be heart-motivated and heart-felt. I wish for you to know that prayer does make a difference in the real world.

Our text is written by David, who said to Jonathan, "There is but a step between me and death." Perhaps, if we would recognize how delicate our life is, we would strive to live our lives better and for Christ's sake. Therefore, let us learn from our mortality.
