  • Anger

People often become angry, as is demonstrated by Jonah. While anger can be a good thing and has its place, it usually is a bad thing and is out of place. I thought it necessary to remind ourselves about what the Bible has to say regarding anger.

  • Encompassed About

Do you recall the early settlers of the West and how on many occasions they were attacked by the Indians? They often had to circle the wagons. Have you ever been surrounded by the enemy? Have you ever been encircled by affliction?

  • The Establishment of Human Government

With the election upon us we hear the promises, fixes, and change. I urge you not to get sucked into the rhetoric. Change is not always what it is cracked up to be. In our text we find that Israel wanted change. In this, we can learn some things about government. I also desire to demonstrate the biblical representation of government and our responsibilities to it.

  • Spiritual Light
