Reasons to Rejoice
With all the problems in the world, if might be difficult to offer a smile. Or, is it? I submit, there are many reasons whereby we can rejoice. There yet exists those things which bring us joy.

Sometimes life can be very difficult. Christians can become disillusioned. So, what do we do? Where do we turn? How can we find solace? I submit that the answer is found in our timeless text, trust in God.
Since the dawn of time there have been different viewpoints among men about politics and religion. It is my objective to discuss the liberal and conservative views and then attempt to demonstrate that the biblical representation and the Lord Jesus Christ abide on the conservative side.
With the election upon us we hear the promises, fixes, and change. I urge you not to get sucked into the rhetoric. Change is not always what it is cracked up to be. In our text we find that Israel wanted change. In this, we can learn some things about government. I also desire to demonstrate the biblical representation of government and our responsibilities to it.
Our text involves light, and the benefit which that light provides. But it encompasses more than a 100 watt bulb; believe it or not, it includes the Bible! We discern that the Bible is a necessity.
Have you ever felt that everyone was blessed by God but not you? Have you ever felt that God wasn't fair to you? Have you ever asked, "Is it worth it to follow Jesus?" Well, you aren't alone.
I believe we can glean precious lessons from those around us. Jesus told us in Luke 16:8, "The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light." What can we learn from the ancient Jews?
Some topics are not popular for public discussion. Our subject for today is one of them. Yet, it is necessary to be reminded of it from time to time, lest we forget its impact. I am going to talk about sin.
We are told in the Bible to be thankful. But, due to our circumstances, sometimes that is not so easy. Our text involves the subject of giving thanks. I thought it profitable to be reminded of this subject.
Men are notorious for getting lost while driving but fail to stop and ask directions. Obviously, it is a pride thing. Problem is, many Christians find themselves lost on the road of life but fail to stop and ask God for directions. Yes, it is a pride thing. How foolish.
