True Belief
Dear sinner, if you are going to be forgiven of your sin and have a home in heaven, you must repent and believe on Jesus Christ. It is then, my objective to discuss this matter of true belief.

If you cut anything, you want to cut straight. That is what we desire of our doctor isn't it? Our text uses a term which employs this analogy. Let us not be haphazard in our surgery of the Scripture, rather, let us be good Bible surgeons.
We often speak of people who depart from this life as doing so in the midst of their condition. For example, we might say, "He died a pauper." Our text deals with the spiritual condition of man in the event of his death. It is my objective to look into our text and receive the warning which is extended by Jesus.
We all do things that are wrong. Most of the time we "get caught" and there are consequences to face. Sometimes no one knows but us and God. Either way, I submit, when we do wrong, we ought to make it right.
There are things which God deems to be holy or sacred. There are things which are dedicated or devoted to Him. Those things should be treated with respect, dignity, and reverence. Our text addresses this subject.
For whatever reason, some people don't know their father. Others have a healthy relationship. From a spiritual perspective, I ask, "Do you have a relationship with God?" That will be my focus today.
Sometimes, after we consider our circumstances, we wonder whether or not the effort is worthwhile. Asaph thought like that. Perhaps you too are thinking that serving the Lord isn't worth the effort. Perhaps you have thought about turning away. May you find encouragement today.
I submit that God has proven His love; that His love, as our verse says, is a great love; and, it is that love "wherewith he loved us." I further submit that His love, unlike our own, will not fade or falter. It is my objective to speak to you about God's great love.
There is a tendency for Christians to go astray in their daily Christian walk. Praise God, in times like that we can turn back to God. Jacob is an example of returning to the Lord. Perhaps you have a need to do so. I pray you shall.
When was the last time you had a need to be in a certain place at a certain time because there was someone with whom you just had to share the gospel? Our text tells us Jesus had such an appointment. This is a mission endeavor. We should be interested in missions.
