Tomorrow is Memorial Day. We honor those who have fought in our behalf. Yet, permit me to say, many have given up their sons for freedom, but the Father gave up His Son for our liberty from sin and Hell. He deserves a memorial. May we be that memorial.
To be bought means that we have a new owner to Whom we should give allegiance and be found in submission. It also means that we don't have any rights to ourselves but only to our Master.
Today is a special day, Mother's Day. Mothers, we recognize you. We honor you. We lift you up. We appreciate you. My objective is to describe the task of being an ideal mother as defined in our text.
